Introduction:
I am an enrolled tribal member with the Comanche tribe, from my father's side. He was born on our land (Reservation) in Lawton, OK. I was an Indian Health Service Scholar for over 7 years. I have been working with American Indian tribes for over 10 years. Tribes includes Lummi, Nooksack, Navajo, and Toiyabe Indian Health... One of my passions is to empower American Indians as well as other underrepresented minority's to become dental/medical professionals. I have extensive knowledge in non-profits, community advocacy, public health, grant seeking/writing, and organizational leadership, community partner-relationship building. Besides being past SAID president, I am also very involved in my local Rotary and community. Our youth are getting better and brighter and it is important we guide them into the area's of education that they are most in need. I specialize in treating and preventing dental fear in children:)) I love what I do!!! I am blessed to have had so many wonderful experiences in business and in friendships. The power of one can make a difference!!!
