Health is For EveryBODY™
If COVID-19 taught us anything it’s that the human experience is based on our collective health. We may not care about the health of others but when a meat packing plant succumbs to the virus and has to close, and meat prices skyrocket in an area--we all care. If hospitals fill and normal car accident victims are not able to get treatment—we all care. If teachers fall ill and schools close—we all care. If someone with any type of infectious disease infects others—we all care. The list goes on. Lower productivity due to health is reflected in higher prices or disruptions in the supply chain.
Health equity is about a level playing field where each person has the awareness, access, and means to attain their optimal health.
In our view, Health is for EveryBODY.
THE “Health is for EveryBODY” Campaign
To be successful, the campaign will have to be multi-pronged and omni channel. Whether we like it or not, we live in a TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, and Instagram world. Our attention spans are 15 seconds of less. We respond to video and imagery more so than words. The campaign has to be hard hitting and impactful. Lastly, it must transcend the political divide that exists. Health equity, or the lack thereof, impacts our entire population.
The NMHA has a high-level creative team awaiting to formally design and deploy the campaign. We have one major cable provider willing to run the campaign. We also have a number of relationships ready to help amplify the campaign once launched.
The campaign is based on recent World Economic Forum’s business case for health equity, and other studies/reports.

Bring real awareness to the issue of health and health equity—nationwide in a nonpartisan manner. This campaign is a multi-channel approach to raising awareness of a critical issue that impacts all of us.
Our plan is to have the campaign logo—everywhere—as a way to make the message top of mind.
Gain Fortune 500 in support of the campaign. Attaining their support will signify the importance of health equity for everyone, everywhere and demonstrate a nonpartisan support for health.
Encourage and secure signatures of consumers on a change.org petition regarding health for everybody.
Health is for EveryBODY -- Campaign goal is to bring awareness and understanding to the important issue of health equity in a manner that is not polarizing. While it is important, many still do not know what health equity is, how it differs from health equality and what the impacts are due to the lack of health equity. Yes, there is a real cost in lives and dollars because of the lack of equity in health.
