The Health Equity Initiative

NMHA is seeking funding to develop/ construct a learning and research facility (virtually and brick/mortar) in collaboration with a university focused on issues of health equity.

Health Equity: The Podcast

NMHA will launch a podcast where CEO’s, Chief Medical Officers and others will spend 15 minutes discussing how their organization is addressing health equity.

The NMHA will begin advocacy for medical marijuana with articles and position papers to help in the discussion and appropriate utilization.

Opiods

There is an opioid crisis and as usual it impacts communities of color. The NMHA will help bring a voice to the issue and help foster/facilitate dissemination of information and discussion by professionals and community members.
